Leasing Tip of the Day: Keywords are in fact, the key
It’s all in the words we choose.
No, it’s not what you think!
Lol.
During a week of prospecting in Cleveland, we were finishing visiting our
list of stopping by 93 prospects we had identified in advance of the trip, and
I was scrolling nearby cities for the targeted uses we wanted for Tower City
Center.
I happenstance typed in the word “fashion” vs “apparel” and WOWZA a
whole new list of independent women’s boutiques appeared!
Amazingly we now have 13 new prospects to visit today that I didn’t know
about yesterday!
You’d think after canvassing over 1800 businesses in Cleveland over the
last 16 months I’d have met everyone ?!! But nope! There are still more
people to meet! More seeds to be cultivated –
And – since my rule is 5 No’s to get a yes – that’s 1813 x 5 ….I have a lot
more visits to make!!
So, once you have your target use list- type in on IG or FB different words
to describe that use – this never dawned on me before – I’m going back to
my list!
